A product manager spent dozens of hours on every PRD: gathering context, writing it by hand in a loose doc, sending it for review and rewriting it when something was missing. Everyone used their own format, and engineering received it late and half-finished. The work was not thinking about the product. It was drafting. They needed a place where several AIs — whichever model the team has connected, not a single one — did that drafting: a first structured version, a second pass that looks for gaps, and a score that says whether it is ready to build. The PM decides and validates. They do not start the document over.
The solution
A platform for product managers. AI writes the PRD from the project context and a template, and the team validates it before it goes to engineering. This is what shipped:
Generation. The PRD comes from a template, the project context and whichever model the workspace has connected. It is not a blank document.
Gaps. A second pass looks for what is missing and what contradicts itself, and leaves it in the trace. The first version is not thrown away.
Validation. The team comments and votes. The document has a score, versions and a read-only link for anyone outside the workspace.
Handoff. When it is ready it can be opened in the coding agent, without copying the context by hand. The PRD ends where engineering starts.
The base. Workspaces, permissions in the database and Stripe for Free and Pro. What each person sees does not depend on a hidden button.
