Use case

Digital product agency for startups

We work with you to scope, design and launch the first version of your product.

At Productea, we design and develop SaaS products, marketplaces and apps for startups. Since 2020, we've worked with over 100 companies, including Capboard, Swipcar, Fourvenues and ClimateTrade. You can hire us for a specific project or work with us month to month. We use AI during development, with the team setting the scope and reviewing deliveries.

What a digital product agency does for a startup

We can help you decide what to build, design the screens and develop the app. We also work on the brand, investor presentation and website you'll use to introduce the product.

Design and development work together. That lets us review how a screen will be built while it's being designed, and adjust the work when a problem comes up.

Working with an agency while you build your team

Hiring means finding the right people, bringing them on board and coordinating the work. If you need to start before the team is complete, an agency can take on part or all of the project.

A monthly subscription lets you adjust or pause the work as priorities or budgets change. Compare your options against the same scope, with responsibilities clearly agreed.

When an agency makes sense — and when it does not

It can work well when you want to test a first release before hiring, your technical team needs more capacity or part of the product needs redesigning.

If the workload will be stable for years, an in-house team is also worth considering. We can help you define the roles you need.

How we organise a launch

This eight-week plan is a reference. We agree the timeline after defining the scope.

  1. 1

    Week 1 — Discovery & scope

We review the problem, users and flows. We define what goes in the first release and check how to build it.

  2. 2

    Weeks 2-3 — UX/UI design

We design the screens and components in Figma and put together a prototype for you to review.

  3. 3

    Weeks 4-7 — Full-stack development

Implementation with Next.js + Supabase. Continuous deploy to Vercel. Stakeholder reviews every 48 hours. Automated tests for critical flows.

  4. 4

    Week 8 — Launch

Go-live, analytics instrumented (Plausible/PostHog), conversion landing, KPI tracking, and post-launch monthly iteration plan.
