My Startup Story is a business simulator for the phone: you start in a garage, pick an idea, hire and watch the office grow. The genre usually lives on a desktop. Here it had to fit in portrait, read without a manual and show the team actually working. The office could not be a board with icons: it had to be a 3D place worth coming back to, and the same game had to ship on iOS and Android.
The solution
We designed and built the whole product: the game, the 3D world, both native apps and the website. This is what shipped:
iOS and Android app. The native app, end to end, built entirely by us. The same game on both stores, with progress saved on the device.
The game. A portrait simulation. Idea, product, team, cash and investment, and an office that grows from the garage to the building. The player watches the team work and decides with the numbers on screen.
3D in Blender. More than 100 models: furniture, characters and the offices. The look is a soft scale model, from the garage to the building diorama.
The code. More than 250,000 lines. The simulation in TypeScript, the scene in Three.js and React, and the native packaging for both platforms.
The website. startupstory.app, the commercial face of the game, with the 3D office scenes.

Who owns the code and designs?
